ATC Cards by Casey

We love how Casey Nelson made these ATC cards for Easter.  She made them so delicate and beautiful for springtime.  She whitewashed the c-flute cardboard for a shabby look.  The extra detail of stitching them on the top and bottom was a perfect addition!

Thank you for sharing with us Casey!!

Easter Banner by Cassie

Cassie, from Something From Cassie blog, made this amazing Easter Banner using Canvas Corp’s New Easter Paper Collection.  The great thing about our Easter Paper Collection is that it was designed to go with our other Paper collections.  We just love Cassie’s talent to make fabulous Banners!!

I absolutely LOVE the bold colors of the Canvas Corp Easter papers. That black just makes everything pop. I started this banner by cutting the Green Chevron paper down to a 4×6 piece. Then I notched the bottom to make the pendant shape. Who doesn’t LOVE Chevron?  It makes everything better. I fussy cut the letters from a sheet of Canvas Corp paper, it also included the carrot graphics. The black and white polka dot paper is die cut with a Shapeabilities die. I wanted it to look like a doily folded over the top. One of my favorite things about this banner is those tissue flowers. Oh.My.Heck.  That is so fabulous to work with. It comes in a pack too, so you get plenty to play with. I cut out circles in various sizes, layered them, fastened them and then scrunched them up. That gave some nice texture. I added Glimmer Mist to the flowers and attached them to the banner. I used pop dots to adhere the letters to the tissue flowers so it didn’t look smooshed. I strung it all up on black Jute and added those fabulous green mini clothespins. Happy Easter!

This is also perfect for the Show Me Your Chevron theme at Paper Issues. Come link up…All the cool kids are doing it.

Guest Post by Maggie {Midwestern Sewing Girl}

Guest Post by Maggie at Midwestern Sewing Girl blog.

Remember last week, when I told you about the whole big box of wonderful that I received from Canvas Corp? Well, here’s another project I created with some of the goodies I received…

Now let me backtrack just a little…a few months ago, I posted my Forty before 40 list. One of the items on this list is to send birthday cards to friends and family…I’ve already failed…miserably. BUT, I WILL get better…now that I have this super-duper handy-dandy organizing system.
This is what I started with:

*Some Conservatory paper from 7Gypsies*
*A couple of odds and ends
I removed the handle that came on the library drawer…I wanted something just a little more low-profile…and replaced it with a length of twine and a button I had in my stash…

Then I cut a piece of the scrapbook paper to size and DecouPage’d it onto the bottom of the drawer…

Yes…the paper is a bit wrinkly…no, I’m not the best DecouPage’r…admittedly…
I used the individual month dividers that came with the drawer to organize the different cards I will need throughout the year.
Then I made a couple of postcards using Canvas Corppaper…I like to have a couple on hand to use for a quick note or thank-you…

One sheet of the 12×12 paper had these wonderful vintage-style postcard templates on it…then I simply cut two other sheets with patterns and colors I liked to size, and attached them to what would be the front of the post card. So fast & so easy. And completely personal. I think I may eventually add some other embellishments to the front of the postcards, but they are ready-to-go as-is if I decide to leave them alone.

I now have this drawer sitting right on the main surface of my hutch in my craft area…easy to find…no more excuses for not sending correspondence…I hope.

Easter Card by Jamie

This Easter card was made by Jamie Dougherty at Jaylynnscraps.com, we love her style using our Canvas Corp products.

I would like to share this Easter Card I did using Canvas Corp.’s New Easter papers. It is a 6×6 card with black and white checkered paper then I added a distressed piece of Lime green & white ribbon paper. I added black and white gesso to the card’s layers to help add texture. I then layered a piece of orange and white dot distressed paper. I used jute and made a lasso background for my little fussy cut bunny and CC tag. The alphas are by Prima.
