Canvas Home Basics Diamondhard™ Furniture, Cabinet and Trim Paint is one of the most unique paint products available in the market. Diamondhard tm technology was invented for use in industrial applications. Canvas took advantage of this amazing technology and worked together with the technical team to develop a version of Diamondhard tm for the interior market. The result is a latex/acrylic based product that will out perform oil-based products. This versatile, pre-mixed paint requires no sanding or priming and works on almost any surface. The end result is a beautiful, durable surface that can withstand the wear and tear of everyday life.
One of the keys to creating the “perfect canvas” is to have the products required to paint all of the finishes that live in a room. This is especially critical in remodels and homes that have a combination of elements from today and those from the past. The thought process began with switch plate covers - there are very few color options and a multitude of wall colors. After hours spent choosing the right wall and trim color, you must then settle for switch plate covers that don’t match or bring metal or ceramic covers into your design. Canvas searched for a solution that would allow the perfect canvas of color to continue onto switch plate covers, ventilation grills, radiators, etc. Diamondhard™ technology was discovered and it is capable of doing much more than we ever imagined: aluminum, brick, concrete, copper, drywall, galvanized, glass, masonry, plastic, pvc, steel, vinyl, wood and more.
Diamondhard™ Furniture, Cabinet and Trim Paint is also the perfect solution for built-in cabinets and furniture pieces that live in the room. The “no priming and no sanding” property allows you to update living space quickly and easily. After an all surface cleaning, cabinets are ready to go. Simply remove hardware and paint over finished wood or painted cabinets. The paint levels beautifully, leaving a professional looking finish. You can finish your updated cabinets with new hardware or you can paint your current hardware with the same great paint. Drying time on various finishes and surfaces may vary. For best results, seven days of curing time before heavy handling of the finished surfaces.
The color palette for Diamondhard™ Furniture, Cabinet and Trim Paint expands to ten pre-mixed colors, allowing more versatility in creating the perfect canvas. Along with our seven Canvas Naturals tm colors, we offer Natural Black, Felt and Tweed. All are deep colors that bring out the richness in the color palette. Each color was specially formulated to match on wall with its companion matte finish color when dry. This formula was difficult to reach and is factory mixed with each batch run to ensure color accuracy and match to matte finish every time.
Diamondhard™ Furniture, Cabinet and Trim Paint, as its name states, is also the perfect trim and detail paint, with its gloss finish and great leveling properties, trim has a very durable finish that will either match perfectly or contrast nicely depending on the design choice.

adhesion and leveling properties allowing it to paint over items such as
switch plate covers, handles, hinges screws etc.. with a gloss finish that
looks professionally done.
